Company Secretary Manager – Longford – Permanent – Competitive salary

We wish to appoint a Company Secretary Manager with a minimum of 5 years' post qualification experience at a managerial level to develop and work with our clients Secretarial Services Department. Working closely with the partners and tax department, this individual will be required to manage a range of company secretarial assignments and develop new business. Strong technical, interpersonal and client relationship skills are required for this role.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop our Company Secretarial Services Department.
  • Responsibility for a portfolio of company secretarial clients including co-ordination of service offerings from other practice areas
  • Management of assignments with other practice departments.
  • Fee billing and cash collection for their area
  • Measurement against collective (departmental) targets for fees and cash collection as well as personal and firm-wide goals
  • Involvement in staff training
  • Involvement in firm / department practice development and marketing initiatives
  • Leading staff reviewing procedures

Job requirements

  • Relevant professional qualification, Chartered Secretary, ICSA / Governance Institute Qualifying Programme preferred
  • 5+ years post qualification experience at managerial level, ideally in a medium or large practice environment
  • Currently working as a Senior Manager in a practice or legal environment
  • Experience of managing relationships with clients particularly in the SME sector
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent organisational and planning capabilities
  • Ability to provide guidance to others
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong technical knowledge of company law and corporate governance standards and practices.
  • Demonstrable planning and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and focus on accurate, quality work Excellent computer-literacy skills
